The cars are built to Mark Bailey's own specification. Being a qualified designer he has used his vast experience to produce the designs for the Osprey. The specification of the cars is : CHASSIS - all aluminium MBR monocoque using the latest honeycomb bonding techniques. BODYWORK - full light weight carbonfibre with low coefficient drag factor, incorporating foam sandwich for extra strength. SUSPENSION & BRAKES - 3 Damper Push Rod front and Pull Rod rear, fully adjustable Ohlins dampers. Alcon calipers and discs. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION - The Engine a Rover V6, with 4 valves per cylinder, is built and serviced by DAM Engineering, and develops 350 brake horse power at 8000 r.p.m. Mark Bailey Racing has an Agency to build Hewland gearboxes, the one for the Osprey being a MBR/Hewland FGC.
